They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. At I and G, we take those incredible moments caught on cameral and turn them into center piece's that won't go un-noticed in your home or the home of the person lucky enough to received it.
Our process involves looking at each element of your photo, adjusting it for the laser and then etching it onto a light shade of wood that is hand treated specifically for our process.
We don't stop there. We inspect the finished results to ensure the highest level of quality, then frame it - and send it your way.
To insure that you get the best product we can offer it is EXTREMELY important that the photo be high-resolution. Screenshots and other low resolution photos will result in grainy, blurry, unsatisfactory photos and cannot be used in our process.
If we do not believe a photo will work, we will send you an email letting you know and ask that you send a different photo for us to try. If you'd like text engraved, along with your photo, please let us know the text and do not include it on the photo that you send us. It could result in the text being too small and unreadable. Lighter colored photos work best. Night and very dark photos are not recommended. If you follow these guidelines we will be grateful, as we want your product to be amazing!
Our wood engraved photos are cut and engraved in the USA using white birch wood. We use the wood in its natural state, so please keep in mind no two boards are the same and each might have different imperfections that only add to the character of this wonderful gift. The wood is 1/8 inch thick.
Before engraving, we will send you an email with a mock-up for your approval. We cannot begin the engraving process until we receive your approval. Depending on order volume, processing can take up to a week, however we are always looking to exceed that time frame. Message us if you need it sooner! Large size orders time depends on the quantity. If you would like to discuss a large order, contact me and I will provide you all the necessary information.
